LET’S KICK AROUND SOME IDEAS TOGETHER.

Sounds fun, doesn’t it?

COPYWRITER. CONTENT STRATEGIST. STORYTELLER. FOUNDER.

Hi friend, I’m Meg. And I do mean friend because, by the time we’re done with our discovery and pre-work calls, we’ll practically be besties. There are few things I love more than a classic episode of Survivor and the latest true-crime podcast. Creating content that helps bold + forward-thinking businesses ranks top on that ‘things I love list’.

When I think of working with you–this is the bare minimum we’re going to accomplish:

⚡- Get you unstuck from the hamster wheel of content creation you find yourself on.

⚡- Bring a little punk into your otherwise profesh biz - you can’t stand out when you look + act like everyone else.

⚡- Help you find your  IT THING and run with it Forrest Gump style.

TL;DR I HAD TWO PIVOTAL MOMENTS IN MY LIFE THAT EXPLAIN WHY I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT (1) WRITING + (2) LIFESTYLE BRANDS

Back in my middle school and junior high years, I spent many days, weeks, and months pouring over fictional writing. I was literally creating an entire fantasy realm filled with magical creatures (whom I designed) and a plot that followed those akin to LOTR and Wheel of Time. I spent hours upon hours in the library studying medieval terminology and literature. This landed me first place in the Young Author’s competition in 7th grade for my school and a one-way ticket to the Young Author’s conference which was a literal dream. This was pivotal moment number one.

In high school, my love of writing (though still there) took a backseat to my love for design. I fell in love with architecture and interiors. The way a space makes you feel, the intelligence that goes into designing a home or business, and the fun I found in playing with color and texture. In my junior year of high school, I took our interior design class and signed up for the test to compete in Skills USA. I passed–with flying colors–and went on to compete in a 3-hour long competition for interior design where we were given a design prompt and free reign to design and explain our design to a panel. I took first place in this state-wide competition and was convinced I would go on to design school. This was pivotal moment two.

It was the culmination of these two moments and my deep love of learning + literature that led me to become the passionate (and somewhat nerdy) writer and strategist I am today.

THE COPYWRITER FOR PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZERS + LIFESTYLE BRANDS TAKING YOUR CONTENT FROM CLUSTERF*CK INTO KICKASS.

Sure, it sounds a little crass. But, if we can’t get honest with ourselves, we’ll get nowhere. And you’re here because something in your think tank told you someone else could unravel the treasure from the trash and that someone doesn’t have to be you.

Outsourcing the pieces of your business that make you feel like you're riding the struggle bus is going to save you a lot of time, money, and headaches down the road. This is why people hire you—professional organizers, interior designers, coaches, cleaning services, luxury service providers–because you do what you do well and it saves people’s most precious resources for the things they want to do themselves.

It’s the same reason why hiring a copywriter and content strategist for your business is the right decision. Together, we’ll work through all your brilliant ideas, but you can leave the word-stringing and paragraph-slinging to me. 😉

word on the street.

Meg is a gifted writer.  She takes my rambling thoughts, organizes them, and puts them in a written format that when I read it I think, “Yes- that’s exactly what I was trying to say.” There is so much value in her intuition and ability to articulate my scattered thoughts.

Meg was SO super fantastic with all her words! She has a talent for listening to her clients and turning what she learns into beautiful and fun descriptive words that tell an authentic story. I struggle terribly with putting words on paper. I do not regret for a moment having Meg completely word my ENTIRE website. Amazing talent.

TIDBITS ABOUT YOUR TYPIST

I survive on reading multiple books at a time, stealing my husband’s sweatpants and calling them mine, + peppermint tea with honey.

Before switching career paths several times, I was originally registered at Columbia College Chicago to study film production with a specialization in screenwriting.

Movie soundtracks help keep my light bulb moments lit. Little Women, Downton Abbey, and La La Land are among my favorites.

Organizing, painting walls, and moving furniture is my form of zen.

Podcasts are a daily must for me. Ask me for my latest recommendations.

I can take 6 months to pick out the simplest of things–when I research, I dive deep down the rabbit hole.

So, did I pass the “she’s pretty cool” test?
